There's not a whole lot to say about 17-year-old Bergen native dePresno, other than he's 7% Spanish (how that works out, we don't know), he loves his orange raincoat and he's been playing guitar since he was practically a toddler. He also writes killer pop songs. Coming from the same city as Aurora and Royksopp (something's in the water in Bergen) probably helped inform his wicked debut track, 'Forever' - a feet first dive into a pool of icy synths and atmospheric guitars, which shares effortlessly cool pop DNA with both Jack Garratt and fellow fresh-faced newcomer, The Japanese House. Mark these words, you'll be seeing a lot more of dePresno and his lovely jacket this year. - DC
